Did an ego scan in Google, and argh. Preserved online for posterity, my 2001 letter to the editor about the reports of children being thrown overboard by asylum seekers. I wrote again a month later when it became clear that we had been lied to, but my follow-up letter wasn't published. Eternal embarrassment.

Also found: disgust at the "radio play" from Inside the TARDIS, the script for which was mistakenly attributed to me. I must get Jon to let me put up his original script, which IMHO was much sharper and funnier. And extracts from Set Piece the musical.

I'm trying to think I've ever sung it on an occasion when I had the MD recorder running. I tend to do it in cirvles rather than concert spots, since I lack the necessary Jazz band, but getting a room full of filker to tap their beer glasses and thump their songbooks in a kind of reggae/tribal drumming pseudo-ethnic mishmash worls quite while for accompaniment.

Hmmm... Where *are* my recordings from Dixseption... Fairly sure I did it the the Dead Herring circle, or whatever it we called it...

You see, that was so confusing! Cos I was sitting there at Inside the TARDIS and thinking it didn't sound like you, and yet I'd heard it was you. I'd be very interested to read Jon's original script, because although the one they performed on the night was quite entertaining, knowing how well Jon writes, I'm sure his original effort far outshines it.
